AYNSLEY Canadian Confederation Centennial 1867-1967 Tea Cup and Saucer Set

This beautiful teacup and saucer made in England by Aynsley is decorated with the Canadian Coat of Arms on one side of the cup and a triple leaf emblem on the other with gold toned trimmed detail. On the inside top rim of the cup it reads "To Commemorate One Hundred Years Of Canadian Confederation 1867-1967". The plate lists 10 Canadian provinces with the dates that they joined the Confederation. Aynsley created this vintage teacup and saucer as a regal tribute to Canada’s celebrations in 1967. Perfect for tea time! The cup measures approximately 2 7/8" across the brim and stands 2 5/8" tall. The plate measures approximately 5 5/8" across. No chips or cracks. This piece will enhance any table setting or collection. This teacup and saucer are in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing.
