Handspun, handknit Samoyed dog fur mitts. Extremely soft & warm, similar to qiviut (muskox) wool or alpaca. Wool collected from a friend's dog, handspun & handknit. Size is approximately a medium. I have small hands but long fingers. Don't pooh pooh them - you will be shocked how beautiful they are, and they do NOT smell of 'wet dog'!

bretton1809 @trescouture Samoyed fur is much softer than retriever. It is like alpaca and highly prized.

bretton1809 @devondufromage Just sent a message to the lady that spun the Samoyed fur for me. Not sure if she is still spinning or not but I know she will get back to me. Are you giving away the fur or do you want it back when spun into yarn? Just what to check in case she asks me. Thanks. I'll get back to you as soon as I hear from her.

bretton1809 Just heard from my friend. She is not spinning anymore but suggested you contact the Spinners and Weaver's Guild. They might be able to point you in the right direction. It would be a shame to not do something with the wool. Good luck!
