FYI, the only way that the cakes/loaves will come out easily without damaging the design, is to lightly spray it with a FLOUR BASED baking spray. I usually try to avoid sprays, but I quickly discovered with another detailed cake pan, that it is absolutely necessary! Comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
