Highly collectible,sought after designer Ola M Gorie. Born in Scotland 1937, was one of the founders in the modern craft movement in Scotland and a leading jewelry designer in Britain as well. This Iconic Orkney design of Viking ship, with early mark OMG. Also marked with Edinburgh sterling marks and date letter (1975). Is 1.75” wide & 1.5” tall. Roll over catch. Wax cast and hand finished in traditional fashion. Gorgeous piece, in Original box. Special brooch. Purchased by owner at collector auction in Victoria.
