This item is a set of seven silverplate pastry or dessert forks in the 'Hepplewhite' pattern, which was manufactured by McLashan Clarke & Co. for the T. Eaton Company, Canada's foremost department store and catalogue retailer of the first half of the 20th century. The pattern was marketed under the Haddon Plate name, an Eaton's exclusive brand.
The forks each measure approximately 6 1/4 inches long, and all are in very good condition. They have a full liquid shine with no dents, dings, pits, corrosion, plate loss, or other damage or defects, although they do show some of the small scratches that come with use.
A great fit to fill in the holes in a heritage set. And at our price - a pretty good deal!
(Apologies for our photos! The dark spots on the silver in our photos are reflections - most likely of one of us with the camera. The silver is spotless!)
