Vintage 1980s Donato by Dion "Slam Dunk" No. 39 novelty print tie. Drawn by cartoonist Andy Donato, this tie features a basketball team falling in a line through a net with a big splash with another member of the team standing underneath it ready to catch them next to a big springboard platform. Navy blue base with a wavy jacquard texture in the silk. Bright blue basketball court at the bottom. 100% silk, made in Canada. In excellent vintage condition, a few tiny stains that mostly blend into the busy print, a few tiny snags. A collectors piece that's ready to wear!
