Vintage 1960s Chrome Waffle Iron Maker Sandwich Press Griddle General Electric

Here is a bright and beautiful General Electric waffle baker from the 1960s. The non-stick waffle plates flip over to convert to a sandwich press. Open the lid all the way to flat and you have a griddle! The plates are removable for easy cleaning. This automatic waffle maker is model G2A. It uses 1100 watts of electricity and it has 3 heat settings. It is clean and tested and works as it should. The light illuminates while the unit is heating and shuts off when temperature is reached. The chrome finish shines. This sturdy unit has been gently used and well looked after. There are a couple of letters missing from the words on the front plate, (see photo).
