vintage Peruvian gourd creature which is also a rattle the artisans hand select the gourd, dry it and hand carved it into a creature or design in this case it appears that some wood burning of design elements probably took place measures approx 3" long in great vintage condition ~ there is a small crack under the head (see photo), but it's not visible when displayed, nor does it affect the rattling
