1950s Cotton Circle Skirt with Momba Print Border

Fantastic 1950s circle skirt with an amazing momba dance print. 16 panels of alternating male and female dancers are sewn together to form a line of dancing figures around the bottom hemline. So fun!! and a rare find from the 50s. I have seen this online in the US including a version with a white background. The waist is 26.5" and there is s 7" Talon zipper. The waistband is 1.5" wide and has a braid of "grip" stripping on the inside of the waist as seen in the photos - all pieces are original to the skirt. Total length is 30.5". No makers tags. * Please note that the skirt is photographed with a light crinoline underneath (crinoline is not included)
