This earring is made of a silver tone metal and has a simple post backing on the stud. The two sections, the infinity symbol stud and the cylindrical cuff, are connected by a dainty chain. Presumably, the stud goes in a lobe piercing and the cuff goes higher up on the cartilage of the ear. There is normal wear and some tone darkening/yellowing in the cuff, but no issues affecting wearability.
