I am open to trades. I esp. love brands-Disney, Cakeworthy, Her Universe, Warner Bros, the Mountain, Life is Good, Taxco, Chico’s, Star Wars, Pacman, Atari, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Ed Hardy, Diane Gilman, Bob Mackie, Lenox, Royal Doulton, Lladro, Bali Jewelry, Carolyn Pollock, Dooney & Bourke, Quacker Factory, Patricia Nash, Victor Costa, Johnny Was, Lucky Brand, Hard Rock Cafe, Coldwater Creek & Andree. * I only trade with someone who is reliable & has mostly good ratings/reviews like me. Also, your prices need to be similar to mine. *No trades on rare, signed, sterling silver priced $30 or more, bundles (2 or more) & handmade by me items I won’t trade in Nov. or Dec. as USPS is overwhelmed with packages & it is when packages mysteriously disappear. The risk is too great & Poshmark only insures the cost of the item sold for not its previous price before trade. I am more inclined to be generous on a trade then to accept an extremely low offer on something I am selling. With a trade, there is something both people want mutually & it can be beneficial. Trading has its advantages so don’t condone it if you haven’t tried it. Poshmark allows trading but doesn’t encourage it as there are risks. I prefer to trade with someone who has been on Poshmark for 3+ months, has many items for sale, is often on Poshmark, have 5+ “love note” reviews, a high seller rating & is willing to chat through the trade process. disneygurl2u I am also willing to tip the scale- what I mean by this is for the right item you have and willing to trade I may be willing to make it worth your while. I may be able for example trade 2 shirts for one you have that I want. But do not expect that I will be willing to trade a $65 (worth $200) sterling silver bracelet for a $30 ($80) jacket. That I will not do!

disneygurl2u Note: Anything I made is for sale only. I am sentimental about these items. Quite a few if them I made when I was very sick. In the jewelry, I used high quality vintage beads and made some very unique necklaces. the embellished denim jacket is loaded with embroidered patches and ribbon I collected through my teens up to my 20s. Making crafts was my way to cope with chronic pain and constant health issues. I am willing to trade but not on these items.

disneygurl2u If you want to bundle items from my closet in hopes for a great deal, understand as a seller I want some profit too. If you have a closet, why not instead trade with me ? that way, it ends up being a good deal for both of us! I do not understand as to why more poshers are not willing to trade. Unless there is some weird notion on the part of the posher that I may be their go to wholesale for items to resell. I do not want to be that and would never consider my fellow poshers in that way.

I welcome the offers of trading but also know that I do not just trade for the sake of trading. there got to be a mutual interest in wanting something from each other's closet. I do not trade just for the sake of trading and actually prefer to sell for profit. I am choosy when it comes to what I will trade for.

I WOULD NOT HESITATE IN MOST CASES TRADING WITH ANOTHER AMBASSADOR. - I say in most cases as I have met a few ambassadors that have been deceptive about what they are selling- but rare as that title displays the status that the seller is consistently reliable.

disneygurl2u AND- I will not trade a huge amount of items - more then 5 and prefer less as you still run a risk of not getting what you traded. Rare but USPS can misplace a package and more rare (though has not happened to me), the other posher is dishonest and does not follow through. That is why I prefer to trade with established sellers esp. ambassadors like me who have been on Poshmark for at least 3 months and have multiple items for sale.

disneygurl2u 😒I believe in being fair in a trade - I may consider a slight more credit in my closet during a trade (about 10% more in the overall price amount of items the other posher wants- sometimes I may consider more but that is when trades get awkward). I will never consider 50% more credit in my closet then the overall price(s) of items that I want in a trade that the other Posher is selling. I am on poshmark overall to sell items but willing to trade if the outcome is overall fair and mutual.

disneygurl2u When I want to trade, I know what I hope to trade for. If you have additional items not listed you, I would love to see. But I also learned a tough lesson, I do not agree on a trade if the other seller is not on the same wave length and/or I get a bad feeling about it. I listen to my intuition which is 99% correct. I always trade with caution and that is as to why my trades have been always successful so far. 🥰

disneygurl2u As it could be a sign that they are closing their closet permanently soon and may try to take advantage of the trade in dishonest means. Some people may think I am being compulsive here with all this I state but I say, I love the idea of a trade but I want to make sure it all goes smoothly for both parties involved. Surely those sellers who read this and would be reluctant to trade have had the same concerns cross their mind. 🤷‍♀️

disneygurl2u @sondrafitchett both poshers find something they like in each others closet. Then bundle them. Then they both either lower the price or send an offer of $3 (lowest anything can sell on poshmark) and pay shipping /tax which is about $9 now so comes to $12 for both in the trade. It is risky apparently but that is why I insist on close communication during the trade process and choosy with who I trade with.

disneygurl2u I have traded though with success. But I never trade during November-December as I have had things sold or purchased that mysteriously disappear, luckily a trade was not involved. With a trade, if an item disappears, poshmark ensures the amount the item sold for, not the seller’s original price. During Nov-Dec. the USPS is swamped with packages and they are more likely to get mysteriously disappeared. Also is the time When packages disappear on people’s porches, so I would not trade then.
