60's Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture Tie

Retro handmade Haute Couture men's necktie by the then up-and-coming designer Yves Saint Laurent, which he was commissioned to make for several boutiques in Quebec and Toronto in the mid- late 60s. This is early Yves Saint Laurent, with a very unique and unusual psychodelic 60's pattern! Psychodelic "bubble shapes", but no crazy neon colours. A beautiful and rare find! None of his 60's Canadian items have material tags, as it turns out, so I have no idea if this is a standard silk material
