more like stoneware, quite heavy. purchased at Horchow years back, mainly used for tea bags, excellent condition. each are the same in diameter just different in height. has embossed blue crabs that are hand painted, has an Asian vibe. note, these supercede the 5 lb weight limit, so I will pay the difference in shipping.
