Cute teapot in the form of a thatched roofed stone cottage w/vining yellow roses, happy little bluebirds & a little brown squirrel (?) visiting the back window. The sculpting is simple, yet detailed. I love that the house is glazed entirely in an attractive cream white & the natural details of the flowers & animals are emphasized w/color. The handles of the pot & lid are realistically modeled as stems w/the leaves & flowers sprouting from the sides & the birds sitting nearby. The little critter in the window really puts this over the top, for me! A very unique piece to add to a collection or home.
