These rare and extremely tall glasses/tumblers are a true conversation piece for your next cocktail party. One features a 3-D Dancing Lady pattern known as "La Femme." The other features a 3-D muscular man pattern known as “L Homme”. They are textured cocktail highballs that feature nude silhouettes and hold approximately 20 oz. They are made by the Libbey Glass Co. in the mid 20th Century. The textured detail is both whimsical and practical as it helps one to hold the glass when slippery from the condensation of a fancy mixed concoctions. Our research found that these were often used for colored drinks like daiquiris, punch, mojitos, etc. due to the fact that the color of the drink would reveal the pattern in better detail. They are perfect for a variety of mid-century bar styles from Tiki to Atomic. They are also used as vases for flower arrangements. These treasures are truly relics from a long gone era and they are highly collectable for those starting a collection or building on an existing set.
There are two glasses in this listing. One "La Femme" and one "L'Homme". We do have additional sets so please check out our other listings!
These are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. See pictures for measurements and condition.
