That has no effect on the overall functionality or aesthetics. *** Everything is included with this set, MINUS the filters for sanitary purposes. You can purchase a 3-pack on their website or on Amazon (which run from only 10-15 dollars). This is also why I lowered the price of the fountain considering this a $60/70 dollar fountain. So, the pieces included are: the plastic fountain itself, the plastic top, the porcelain dish with the red tap, the sterilization pump, along with the original charging cord. This pawsome pet fountain does not come with its original box, but I will make sure it is well wrapped and packaged, ensuring that it’s safe on its travels to its new home.
