This is a BOTM copy of “ Sisters In Arms” by Kaia Anderson. This book is in excellent condition. Kaia Alderson has spun a tale that kept me enthralled from beginning to end. I like history and am always happy to focus on various aspects of Black history. Even though Sisters in Arms is a work of fiction, the characters and settings are realistic enough to convey a sense of the times, the atmosphere, the attitudes and the events of the period that encompassed World War II. This particular work sheds light on Black women's roles as members of the military as well as their struggles, friendships, and possible family dynamics. I would have no hesitation in recommending this book to anyone who enjoys a well crafted story, a story that makes you think, a story that will likely provoke strong feelings.
