Vinatge Zuni Talavai Kachina Sterling Inlay Bolo Tie! Circa 40's - 50's, Sterling Inlaid with Black Onyx, Red Coral, Turquoise, Abalone Shell, Mother of Pearl in Beautiful Detail, Braided Leather Tie with Inlay Tips, in Excellent Vintage Condition. Measures 2-1/4" wide x 2-1/4" high and laying flat, it's 18-1/2" from neck area to tips, overall 37" tip to tip. The Talavai Kachina formerly appeared in pairs on the rooftops and sang songs, waking the people in the village. During the day they would dance with the other kachinas whom they led and prompted in the singing. Such a great collectible piece!
