The bowl's distinctive tear-drop shape and the small, integrated handle are characteristic features of Russell Wright's designs for Oneida. Russell Wright collaborated with Oneida Ltd. to produce dinnerware lines, including various bowls, plates, and serving pieces, which are often sought after by collectors. These bowls were typically made of stoneware and came in various colors, including the dark green (often referred to as "Forest Green" or similar shades) seen in the image The original bowl was given to the Met Museum in NY by the artist in 1976. His designs are iconic and immediately identified by his unique design. The color is a dark green-grey with a space age shape and a handle that is flat and curved in the end for easy handling. It’s ceramic, originally made by Stuebenville potteries. This later example was made by Oneida
