This jacket was an estate find. Dates from the late 1960s, and supposedly it was worn at the famed Woodstock music festival (I have no supporting documentation of this). One owner.
Would fit a small frame (please see measurements). Handmade of thick suede leather, patchwork jacket in dark chocolate and cognac brown. The pieces are crudely lashed together using twisted twine rope. Front button closure with homemade sliced walnut shells as buttons.
Measures about 19” across at the underarms at the back, 18" shoulder to shoulder, 22” total length from shoulder top to the bottom hem edge, and 21” sleeve length.
Again, this is a perfect restoration project. The rope lashing is loose and partly missing. The shoulder seam tops need restitching. Three walnut buttons have come undone and I am including them. The dark suede is a bit stiff but no dry rot. Selling AS IS.
