This is a flattering and fabulous coat: the shiny quality of the coating is not as evident in all lights, but it is enough to give this ski jacket a stylistic edge that is a thrill when compared to the utilitarian design of so many other ski jackets and cold weather gear. The term “quiet luxury” is perfect here: add some fit and flare ski pants by North Face and you’ve got a high-functioning, cold weather outfit that is subtle, warm and beautiful. The down is soft and thin, creating a lighter “puffy coat” and a smoother silhouette that adjusts and tightens along the bottom hip seam to keep out the snow and the wind but also hugs your curves exactly where yours are. The back is slightly lower than the front to keep you dry if you fall and to accentuate your individual shape front to back. Skea is a luxury brand created by female skiers for other women. There is no sacrifice in the tech design in order to be stylish. These coats retail for $900 and there is a coat just like this in stores now. Currently, there are under five of this style across the used clothing apps, and what is available is mostly made of vegan leather vs this more subtle fabric. Fit: I am an 8/10 on top: an 8 in Rag and Bone and J.Crew and a 10 in Akris and other higher priced designer labels. I am reposhing this because it is a truer 10. I am working to recoup the money spent so the price is relatively set, but I will consider reasonable offers. Don’t miss this deal!
