This piece is hand-carved to depict the profile of a woman with classical features and flowing hair. It is made from highly iridescent mother-of-pearl which gives it a shimmering, colorful appearance. This cameo sits in a metal frame, which is rose gold in color with a C-style clasp, typical of jewelry from the late nineteenth century Victorian Era.
