They are for illustration purposes only! This does not come with a ball chain, but can easily fit on both the 2 1/4" and 3" Coach hangtag ball chains. I personally own the Coach Rexy shoe charms. Those charms are no where near the quality of this charm. This charm is fabulous!! Alloy Steel is lightweight, but strong and will last a long time! This will be such a cute addition to any bag.
