Vintage Athens Greece Parthenon Souvenir Brass & Mother of Pearl WoodWall Plaque

This beautiful vintage Greek tourist souvenir is a round wooden wall plaque featuring a detailed 3D high-relief brass depiction of the ancient Parthenon in Athens. The central iconic temple is set against a shimmering mother-of-pearl (or pearlescent faux-celluloid) background, encircled by a prominent, classic gold-tone Greek key (meander) pattern border. The text on the metal plate reads "PARTHENON ATHENES." The back of the dark-stained wooden plate includes a pre-attached metal triangle hanger for easy wall mounting. It is in excellent vintage condition with minor tarnish to the metal accents. Plaque is 5 inches wide. Great value!!
