Antique Chinese Real Cinnabar Vase

Gorgeous antique deep carved real cinnabar red lacquer wooden vase, based on my research due to the construction, aging signs and signature at the bottom is circa early 1900s, the technique of creating cinnabar required lots of skills and times, layers of red lacquer were carved one after another in oder to create the deep carving effect, it is not produced anymore due to the lead that proved to be harmful to the masters, the carving on the vase is very beautiful and detailed depicting oriental floral motifs and scholars, with lots of charm and character, would add a unique retro accent to your room! Condition: please note that this is an antique case with the signs of wear/aging as seen in the photos, could be displayed without revealing the imperfection at the bottom. Measurements: 16 cm
