Fabulous Art Deco Vintage Whiting & Davis Enameled Mesh Bag With Enamel Frame in great condition! The stylized rising (or setting) sun in black and white is both dramatic and minimalist, offset by the elegant enamel design on the kiss-lock metal frame. The frame is marked on both halves for "Whiting and Davis Co Mesh Bags". One part of the frame is marked "made in Canada" Condition: In great shape with minimal wear to the black enamel on the frame, and a few little spots to the mesh. The mesh is nicely attached to the frame, and only has a couple mesh links on the edge squished out of alignment. (on one side only) (pictured). The kiss-lock frame opens and closes well, and has only a slightest gap on the edge when shut. Size: Length Bag + frame top of clasp 6 3/4" (17 cm) width on frame 4" (10 cm) strap / chain length ca 12" (31 cm)
