fgcreations @matildada if your cat is very patient it would work. I find the larger ones that you get in the dog section harder to line up properly on smaller dogs and cats, so for me it took too long to line up so I wouldnt cut too much. We actually went and got cat clippers for our dog and he is much more willing to let me clip his nails with the cat ones as I can line them up faster. These ones I would recommend for a medium or large size dog. Small dogs and cats I'd recommend the smaller cat ones for
