Cute cotton sack for proper storage of mushrooms, tomatoes and onions. I used to use this when I was clipping herbs or picking tomatoes in my garden. But then my garden got bigger, so I needed a bigger basket. This is ideal for storing mushrooms, onions and other vegetables in the fridge, as it is breathable, and thick enough to prevent bruising of the produce. It is sturdily constructed and in excellent structural condition. All the seams and fabric are strong. There are rivets near the top that are primarily for show, but can be used to cinch the bag shut if you add a cord or ribbon. The bag features a stylized drawing of a peacock on a fern. But if you squint sideways, it also sort of looks like David Tennant sporting a Victorian Mourning hat and a luxuriant mustache. You will never unsee this now! Please see the approximate measurements in the photos. It is about the same size as a large Ziploc freezer bag. There are some stains on the bag from use which are normal in this kind of sack. I've turned it inside out for a couple of photos to show the seams and interior condition. It has been washed and sanitized prior to listing.
