Bring home the beauty of Italian Renaissance artistry with this pair of hand-painted Castelli majolica tiles, created by the artisan workshop SACA (Castelli, Italy) and originally sold through the Baccarini Portofino boutique.
These collectible tiles feature:
• Renaissance-style portraits – one noblewoman and one nobleman
• Traditional Castelli color palette (greens, ochres, deep blues)
• Hand-painted detailing and brushwork
• Classic scroll borders
• Slight variations from artisanal production
Both tiles are signed on the backs with the traditional Castelli workshop markings:
“SD/QMB-15 – SACA CASTELLI – ’92-F1” and “SD/QMB-15 – SACA CASTELLI – ’94-E93.”
One also retains its original Baccarini Portofino gallery label.
