westcoastlux Hi @kokiteno thanks for your interest in my closet. These boots have minimal wear. No it’s not a crack I accident hit the leather when I was using a box opener to take a knot out of the lace 😕 it never bothered me as you don’t see it when they are laced up. Unfortunately these are in my house in Vancouver & I’m here in NS till after Thanksgiving .
