A fine pair of early vintage Stuart crystal candlesticks. Exceptional quality hand cut crystal. The candlesticks have faceted paneled design, a star cut base, a hollow stem and a scalloped cut top. Marked on the base. "Stuart England". In 1995 Stuart crystal became part of Waterford company. 7" tall 3.75" Base diameter Candle opening is around 3/4" diameter at the narrow part Stuart Crystal was prestigious English glassware manufacturer since 1827. In early 20 Century was granted Royal Warrant and supplied the highest quality crystal British Royal Family. One of Stuart notable achievements was a development of new glass formula known as "Stuart Glass" in 1930. This new formula enhanced the brilliance, clarity and strength of the glass that further solidified the company reputation for exceptional quality. In 1995 Stuart crystal became part of Waterford company.
