Hi, Were these cuffs originally sleeves that have since been removed from the dress ? Where are the tears shown in the netting - on the inner or outer layers ? If outer, how high above the hemline ? Thanks.

@vortex888 hi there. The cuffs are original to the dress.
The flaws are in the outer shell of the dress in different locations.
One along the hem and there is a small cut out and a 1 inch slice. The few small holes are likely from cigarettes although there are no burns or anything to confirm.
Its a stunning dress in fairly great condition for its 67 years 😊

@vortex888 along hem is the slices ans upper as shown invohitoa are a few more maybe 6 inches from waist. Outer layer
