My family is drowning in poverty, gasping for relief that never comes. Hunger gnaws at us every day, a cruel reminder that survival is never guaranteed. Sickness lingers in our home like a curse, stealing our strength while we fight to keep going. And then there’s our landlord—a heartless monster who treats us like we’re less than human, pushing us further into despair. I’m a mother, struggling to keep my babies safe, to shield them from the cold, the hunger, the fear. I don’t remember what peace feels like. I don’t remember the last time I didn’t have to choose between feeding my children or keeping a roof over their heads. And yet, in the middle of all this suffering, I cling to small joys—my love for cute, affordable clothes, a tiny piece of beauty in a life filled with pain. If you see this, please… pray for us.
