RARE Vintage 1950s–1960s Bellaire Wool Plaid Button Shirt Jacket

Ltd. is a mid-century classic, made in Canada and crafted with a warm, heavyweight wool. Designed with bold brown, cream, and red plaid, it features a half placket button front, two flap chest pockets (sewn shut), and button cuffs. These “shirt jackets” (sometimes called shackets) were popular as rugged outdoor and workwear in the 1950s–1960s, and Bellaire was a respected Canadian maker of durable garments. Pieces like this are highly collectible today. Condition: Okay. There are two missing buttons, loose threads on sleeves, and the pockets are sewn shut.
