1960s VINTAGE JAPANESE HAND PAINTED JEWELLERY BOX looks like it was meant to also be a music box but the mechanism on the back is missing (see photos) This is a really attractive and striking jewellery box made circa 1960’s and would look amazing on any dressing table – an absolute must have for collectors. Japanense and hand painted, the design is a mini chest of drawers in the style of a French Armoire. It has been crafted from good quality wood, pattern etched and then hand painted in gold which is really striking. A pattern appears on the top of the box and on the front of each 3 x drawers.
