Sadler Brown Betty Teapot, Striped Brown Betty Teapot

This is an Authentic Sadler Brown Betty Teapot made in Staffordshire, England. This design has a dark brown background with black stripes. The teapot holds approx 4 cups. Measures approx. 5 5/8 tall x approx 6 in long. Brown Betty teapots are desirable because of the rounded shape that helps circulate tea leaves to produce a better tasting tea. Although fading this teapot is stamped "Sadler" on the bottom with a crown. Marks include the name or initials, and from c.1947 the name 'Sadler' was on a banner below a crown.
