cottagegifts @ninas_closet11 Anyway, some might decide Poshmark isn’t the place for them because it sounds like your shoppers are annoying jerks. People spend more money when they are in a good mood, so you could be losing sales if the rules intimidate better customers. Affluent customers really wouldn’t like seeing “lowball offers,” because that would be equivalent to low class Walmart customers...(shhhh I shop there)

cottagegifts I sold book on Amazon for $8.Guy claimed I ripped him off, as cover had $2.99 on front-the book was published in 1978 &out of print!That was 1978 price. Knew he was either an idiot or scammer. Perhaps both. Processed refund.Maybe he got away with scamming,maybe I’m a doormat.But for $8 he wasn’t worth it.considered it a loss & I won’t deal with him.I can make more money by spending my time listing than try to convince that dude.I hope he got papercuts from the book.But I’m not bitter(evil laugh)

cottagegifts @ninas_closet11 yes & the policy is that not even makeup that has been just swatched a tiny bit should not be sold. I see eyeshadow all the time that is used up down to some of the metal pan showing. It’s also in the Terms Of Service that nail polish isn’t to be sold, yet Poshmark had a promotion of OPI recently - on the home page when I tried out the desktop version. Also there are perfumes all the time.

cottagegifts @ninas_closet11 The reason PM got a special deal with USPS on mailing was that nothing explosive like perfumes & nail polish would be mailed. Especially on 1 or 2 day Priority, the orders may go on an airplane. So...they need to either have a policy or not. Seems that certain words should trigger an approval process. Many sites have that - even comment fields in blogspot blogs have that. I need chocolate.

cottagegifts @ninas_closet11 aw thank you! I found Boondoggle Bliss’ YouTube channel and I’ve listened to podcasts about PM. There is even a podcast with an interview with Tracy Sun, the co-founder of Poshmark. “Boondoggle Bliss” has TONS of good info.

ninas_closet11 @pluswear right! It seems like the policy's may have changed...... If they did we should have all received an update. Because I'm also a moderator on here, and it gets confusing when people report others for: perfumes, nail polish, used make-up.... Idk if I should agree that's it's in violation of posh rules or not, so when those items appear I just hit the "idk" button.
