Silver Metal Pheasant Letter Opener: Chromed Desk Accessory

Quite a large metal letter opener in a silver toned metal, The blade overall very smooth and with a pair of bas-relief pheasants forming the handle. The material looks like it is chromed and there is no maker or country noted. The shape is identical to brass (bronze) examples from England ca 1920s, with the heavy silver toned overlay being the main difference.
