Small Wood Marquetry Jewelry Trinket Box w/ Shell Inlay Hand Made in Syria

Vintage small wooden trinket box has intricate marquetry & shell inlay design on the lid and around the sides of box. Interior has red felt lining with braided trim around the inner edge. Made in Syria. Approx. 5 1/4" long x 3" wide x 1 1/4" tall. Interior compartment measures approx. 4" long x 1 7/8" wide x 3/4" deep. Pre-owned condition: some surface wear (small marks/indents) to wood from normal use & display.
