Staffordshire Tea Cup and Saucer Hand Painted Pink Roses Heavy Gold Gilt I249

Gorgeous! Proudly featuring a marvelous hand painted design of perfect pink roses done in a rich, warm color palette. The back ground is crisp, clean white. A wide band of soft, sweet green, with bluish undertones, is liberally decorated with gold gilt chintz type design. The outside of the teacup is white with a thin ring of gold. Additional gold gilt on the rim, foot and handle provide that extra touch of elegance. All of this on the finest of English bone china. Made in England by Crown Staffordshire China Company under the trade name Staffordshire. The wide mouth teacup stands 2.25" high and measures 4" across the rim. The saucer measures 5 7/8" across the rim. A few minor flaws: small brown spot on outside of teacup, several black marks on the underside of the saucer. No nicks, chips, cracks or crazing.
