As such it is intended, among other things, to tell a story about what happened at a certain locale on the Prairie landscape at certain times in the past. Simply put, we want to know when and how small groups of people who occupied a place within southwestern Manitoba just after the last Ice Age made a living both at the locality and within a larger geographical setting of which it was a part. We also want to know where the people came from, and why they chose that spot to live in when they did.
