Unique Vintage Cigarette Case

Preowned and used condition. I bought this in a thrift store in the 1980s and it already looked old at that time. I'm not sure when this dates from. It is fully functioning, but there is wear as would be natural for such an old item of this kind. The ornate top is, I believe, made of vinyl and there is a small patch of damage as shown in the photos. Indigo blue against a beige background. The case measures 3 inches by 4 inches.
