Vintage 1950’s Black Crepe Dress Sz 6/8 Petite Incredible seamstress details, open bateau v neck see 2nd last photo for detail of front hem, so lovely. So Audrey Hepburn, timeless design you only see in vintage pieces. Back zipper, set in waist, fully lined. This dress has had many lives. My mum wore it to the Copa in Vegas the 50’s, in the 60’s my aunt opened up the front seam and wore it over hot pants and in the 70’s I left the seam open and wore it over satin leggings and my daughter wore it to her grad. The seam was carefully opened and could easily be sewn again down the front seam again to be worn as it was originally intended. Perfect for a graduation, wedding, evening event or wear or open over leggings to a club a la 70’s. It’s ready for Act 1V!
