Vintage French Tapestry Accent Pillow

V3 ~ The music man. Stunning work of art. Last one! Included somewhere in the mix is my original inspo for French tapestry in a modern mid century setting. Mid Century Renaissance :) Legit vintage french tapestry, these are very rare to come by and very expensive. Circa 1960 ish I am guessing. I have a much older set of three in my personal collection. I will pull them out in the coming days for comparison. Approx 18" square feather insert included. I originally made this set with a raw silk backing, but have come to realize that this textile isn't strong enough for practical use. There were three to begin with, first two are now gone. this is the last to be remade with the velvet backing that is pictured here. "myvintagepillow" came about under the premise of salvaging high end textiles from the landfill. Piecing complimentary colors and textures on the back side allows me to utilize all of these beautiful textiles to their fullest.
