Vintage Japan 1950s DUCK Shape Brown Glazed Redware Pottery Teapot creamer sugar

Perfectly delightful, this vintage 1950s Japan brown glazed 'Redware Pottery Teapot and Cream and Sugar Set' are formed in the shape of ducks. Each has a red ribbon tied around their necks, wire handles and a mini duck as the knob on the lid of the teapot. As per photo there is a chip in the duck on the teapot lid. All 3 pieces are marked on the bottom Japan. The measurements for the teapot are approximately 10" length x 3-3/8" width x 7-1/2" height with the wire handle upright. The creamer/sugar duck pot is approximately 6- 5/8" length x 2-5/8" width x 4.25" height with the wire handle upright. Maximum liquid capacity for the teapot is 12 ounces and the creamer/sugar duck holds 4 ounces. As can be seen in the photos, many years of use has produced a chip to the lid of the teapot duck lid. There is crazing to the glaze. The wire handles are also oxidized as pictured. All of these issues can be remedied with a little TLC. Please check the photos closely to judge the condition for yourself. This is a beautiful vintage set with signs of use but absolutely gorgeous!
