Vintage Japanese Tea Cup and Saucer, Purple with Roses, Gold Trim I1111

Gorgeous! Proudly featuring a wonderful design done in a rich warm color palette. Gold gilt trim on the rims, foot and handle. Simply marked Japan, which would place manufacture to the early 1900's. The teacup stands 2 1/8" high and measures 3 7/8" across the rim. The saucer measures 5.5" across the rim. PLEASE NOTE: Discernible wear to gold gilt, primarily on the rim of the teacup. Also small black spot on the underside of the saucer. No nicks, chips, cracks or crazing.
