Vintage Kayser Full Length Cream Sheer Nylon Chiffon Negligee Slip Nightgown S

This is a beautiful, full-length nightgown in a light cream color. It has a very sheer and flowing quality, and is cut from nylon chiffon, typical of mid-century lingerie. Ethereal and romantic, such negligees were often made for lounging or for a special night. They were often included in a wedding trousseau. • The nightgown is maxi or full length, extending down to the floor. It has a relaxed, A-line cut that drapes softly over the body, and a slit in the front. • It features a delicate lace-trimmed v-neckline supported by thin spaghetti straps. • A notable feature is the low-cut, scooping back, which is very open and adds an element of elegance. • The front of the bodice has some delicate embroidered lace detailing in a deeper pale gold thread, adding a subtle touch of texture and design.
