Vintage Navy Midi Skirt, Front Slit, Made in Canada, Womens (Size M). Features include: - brand is "A Sweetheart of a Garment Ltd." - item was manufactured in Canada - 100% polyester (no stretch) - navy colour - slit on centre front of skirt (approx. 10 1/2" high) - skirt has small belt loops - midi length - zipper and button closure on back - interesting and unique item that was picked up at a vintage store on Queen St. in Toronto; can be paired with platform sneakers (like my photo) or stilettos - flat measurements (approx.) include: waist is 14 1/2", hip width is 21", and length is 27". Please note that the label states "size 14" but because this is a vintage preloved item, it is recommended to refer to these flat measurements. For reference, I tried this on and it fits closer to a current/modern size 8 or size M. Condition: very good for vintage item. Upon very close examination, I found that there is a bit of a stain on the front panel of slit - very difficult to see but I was able to somewhat capture (refer to last photo). I did not take this to my local dry cleaner to explore further. Price reflects this discovery.
