Vintage Pearlite Stone Owl Canadian Wildlife Home Decor

This vintage handcrafted owl sculpture was made in Canada by Pearlite Stonecraft, likely in the 1970s–1980s. It is crafted from pearlite, a dense natural iron alloy stone primarily composed of ferrite. This unique material is solid, cool to the touch, and known for its smooth, black-toned finish—not painted or stained. The sculpture features highly detailed hand-carved feathering, warm yellow-gold highlights, and large glass eyes that give the owl a bold, lifelike presence. The base retains its original foil sticker: "Handcrafted by Pearlite Canada."
