Vintage Velvet Drawstring Purse, Black Beaded Cylindrical Evening Bag, 1950's,

This is a gorgeous little vintage clutch in black velvet. it is a cylindrical shape with drawstring closure and silver beaded embellishment. Tag says "Topiwala D. M. E Bros Made in Zanzibar". Bottom and sides up to end of beaded are stiff and hold the cylindrical shape. The material closer to the top is thinner to allow it to be gathered. Circa 1940's - 1950's. Carry by wrapping the drawstring handles around your wrist. Real statement piece for evening attire. Condition: Very good vintage condition with minor signs of use or wear. No stains, odors, etc. Measurements: 4" diameter bottom x 6" tall to top of gathers.
